The Story So Far
I have always loved stories. From devouring story books as a child to studying English Literature and Spanish at Newcastle University and then teaching myself to photograph, film and edit.
After cutting my teeth in the television industry with RDF Television, working on BBC and ITV programmes, I spent a few years in music before returning to the world of storytelling,
I worked on communications with various charities including Womankind Worldwide, Women LEAD Nepal and Warm Heart Worldwide aiming to combine my passion for communication with a desire to make a difference.
For the last year I have been working alongside photojournalist Kate Holt at Arete to produce and project manage visual communications for clients inluding Unicef, UNFAO, WFP, War Child, Rockefeller Foundation, Mastercard Foundation and GSMA. I am now honing my practical skills and exploring critical approaches to media and communication for international development by studying an MA in Media Practice for Development and Social Change at Sussex University in Brighton.
